🎟️ FTC Cracks Down on Ticket Resellers Using Illegal Tactics
FTC announced legal action against Maryland-based Key Investment Group and affiliates for allegedly using deceptive methods to bypass Ticketmaster’s security and buy hundreds of thousands of tickets—often exceeding purchase limits. Events targeted include Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

The resellers used fake accounts, spoofed IPs, and SIM boxes to grab tickets and resell them at inflated prices, violating the Better Online Ticket Sales Act and the FTC Act.

📢 These laws protect fans by banning the use of bots and other tech tricks to dodge ticket limits and disrupt fair access.

The Federal Trade Commission is suing a ticket broker operation for allegedly using unlawful tactics to exceed ticket purchasing limits for many popular events, including Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour,

🔐 Your Privacy Matters — Here’s What to Look For

Ever wonder what companies do with your personal info? 🤔
A privacy policy isn’t just legal stuff — it’s a promise about how your data is collected, used, and protected.

Here’s what a good privacy policy should do:
✅ Clearly explain what info is collected and why
✅ Tell you if AI or cookies are being used
✅ Make it easy to opt out of marketing
✅ Let you update or delete your info
✅ Be easy to read — no confusing legal talk!

💡 Fun fact: 89% of people say they’re more loyal to brands that protect their data.

So next time you visit a website or sign up for something, take a peek at their privacy policy. It’s your data — you deserve to know how it’s being used. 💬

Finding issues with a privacy policy, report it to the ANA Consumer Trust Center:

This Center is intended to provide consumers with tools and resources designed to enhance their marketing and ad experiences.
