It has recently come to our attention that there are individuals in Connecticut who are falsely claiming to represent Fashion Week Connecticut, New Haven Fashion Week, Hartford Fashion Week and Editorial Fashion Week.
Fashion Week Connecticut is a legal 501c3 non-profit organization and New Haven Fashion Week, Hartford Fashion Week and Editorial Fashion Week are licensed to operate as legal business entities in the state of Connecticut.
In our years of developing these platforms, we have always strived to present the State of Connecticut and its individual towns as treasure troves of talent that deserve the same attention and connectivity as any other state that has fashion week representation. We have pushed ourselves to produce fashion shows that embody our mission of spotlighting models, brands and beauty teams that support our events. While simultaneously seeking to refresh, support and grow the fashion ecosystems within Connecticut.
It is not only disrespectful but disheartening to hear that individuals are falsely claiming to operate as, collaborate with, or are using confusing verbiage or identify theft in order to deceive and misrepresent our fashion weeks.
Editorial Fashion Week April 20th-26th
Hartford Fashion Week CT April 20th-26th
New Haven Fashion Week Oct. 5th-11th
Fashion Week Connecticut Oct. 13th-19th
This is one of two formal cease-and-desists to all parties and groups looking to mimic, copy, replace or allude to being in collaboration with our fashion weeks, using any
terminology that consist of re-arranging the brand name of Fashion Week Connecticut, New Haven Fashion Week, Hartford Fashion Week or Editorial Fashion Week.
Anyone outside of our network of founders and operators, who have not been in direct contact with our trusted teams are operating in bad faith, using fraudulent business tactics
to deceive the general market, individual businesses and independent creatives
