I could feel the passion oozing out of this woman as soon as I met her almost three years ago.

She was on a mission and determined to complete it no matter what. Getting to know her and her story over the past few years has been an honor. Not only is Uché doing the work she is truly passionate about and is meant to be doing, but her work is hugely essential and life-saving.

"It was the MSNBC opportunity that made me realize I needed to take things to the next level. I knew I was going to be on air several times a week, and I wanted to stand out - knowing that there are very few Black women news contributors. I'm one of the very few Black women physicians on TV. So thinking about how I was going to show up, was important to me - and not just what I look like, but how I felt.

Making the decision to do Lights. Camera. Luxe! was kind of simple - I knew how much fun I had working with you previously, and what a transformative experience that was.

And the photoshoot was truly the same - I was on cloud 9 to be honest, in fact I wished it could've lasted longer. I had SO much fun, and couldn't wait to see how the images came out! (as you can see here - they're A-mazing)

"I'm in the personal finance space, and I talk a lot about money, and being responsible. So, investing 💰 in clothing & styling at this level is not something I typically do. It's usually more DIY, but after the shoot, realizing what those images give, and continue to give - I know I would NOT have been able to achieve that myself.

Working with you and talking to you about style, and seeing how clothes 💯 make a difference is an eye-opener. It's an investment that literally pays off, and keeps paying off.

Lights. Camera. Luxe! was definitely a stretch for me, 'cause investing in myself this way isn't something that comes naturally. But when I see the pictures, when I see the results, I'm like ohhhhh, that's why this is worth it. And it sets me apart from people who don't spend the money to do something like this. 📸
