If you lost money in gross receipts from 2019 and 2020 and your 2019 and 2020 taxes reflect that loss, you can apply to receive the monetary difference as a grant.

This is not a loan; the money does not have to be paid back.
If you received a PPP loan, you can deduct that amount and still receive the difference.

For example:
If gross receipts were $500,000 in 2019
and gross receipts were $200,000 in 2020
plus you received a $200,000 PPP loan
You are eligible to apply for $100,000.

This is a first come, first served opportunity.
The application must be submitted on May 3 to be eligible.

A total of $28.6 billion is being awarded
Awards will be announced in approximately 2 weeks.
