The most unforgettable weddings aren’t always the biggest or the most extravagant, they’re the ones where people truly feel something. Whether it’s exchanging vows on a quiet beach, in the mountains, under the Italian sun, or right in your hometown surrounded by the people you love most, the ceremony is what stays with everyone long after the night is over.

And that’s exactly why I believe creating an intentional, emotional experience matters so much. The location sets the scene, but your words, your story, and the feeling in the moment are what make it unforgettable.

Outdoor summer ceremonies are beautiful… until the little details get overlooked. From keeping guests cool to having a solid weather backup plan, these are the things I always remind my couples to think through before the big day. The best weddings feel effortless because the planning behind them wasn’t.

The magic of a ceremony doesn’t just happen in the moment - it’s in everything leading up to it.

The week of, I’m refining every word, making sure your story flows exactly how it should. The day of, I’m grounding the energy, reading the room, and showing up fully present so everything feels effortless, calm, and true to you.

So when you’re standing there, all you have to do is feel it, I’ve already taken care of the rest.

No matter the setting, from Palm Beach, FL to Wallard, TN the vows are what carry the ceremony.

I’ve stood with couples in completely different environments, each with its own energy, pace, and backdrop, and yet the one constant is always the same. When the vows begin, everything else falls away. It’s the words, the intention behind them, and the way they’re felt not just by the couple, but by everyone witnessing them.

That’s what grounds a ceremony. Not the place, not the scale, but the promises being made in that moment, and the way they stay with you long after the day is over.

Working with Raquel Bickford and Claire Glynn of for Corinne and Jason’s wedding was one of those collaborations that just clicks. They have such a distinct way of approaching a wedding from thoughtful, design-forward, and incredibly attuned to the overall experience of the day.

What I appreciated most was how seamlessly everything came together. Every transition felt intentional, every detail felt considered, and there was this underlying sense of ease that allowed the ceremony to truly land. It’s clear they don’t just plan events, they shape how a wedding feels from beginning to end.

Being part of a day that was guided with that level of care and creativity was such a joy.

I’ll never get over the feeling of packing my bags for a wedding: new place, new love story, same magic every time. Early flights, garment bags, carrying a couple’s vows with me…it never gets old. There’s something so special about stepping into your world, wherever it is, and helping you tell your story in a place that means everything to you.

No matter where your “I do” happens, I’m there, equal parts calm presence, storyteller, and biggest supporter, ready to turn your love into vows that travel with you forever.

Kendall and Matt’s ceremony was such a special one for me to be part of. I had the honor of working closely with them to shape the ceremony and coach their officiant, making sure every moment felt natural, intentional, and true to who they are.

There’s something I really love about this process, helping someone step into the role of officiant with confidence, while also creating a ceremony that feels deeply personal and grounded. The result is always something that feels genuine, connected, and so meaningful to everyone in the room.

So grateful to have played a part in bringing their ceremony to life.

According to Vogue, these are the wedding trends defining 2026, and I have to say, I’m seeing them come to life in such intentional, elevated ways.

From food doubling as décor to scenic statement walls and truly custom details, weddings are feeling more immersive than ever. It’s not just about how a day looks, but how every element is designed to be experienced. Even the smallest touches like thoughtfully placed linens or unexpected patterns, are being used to tell a cohesive story.

What I love most is how personal everything feels. Couples aren’t just following trends, they’re using them as a starting point to create something that’s entirely their own.

There’s something so special about the presence of a mother on a wedding day, in the quiet moments, the steady support, and the way she’s been there long before this day ever arrived.

I’m always struck by how much history lives in these relationships. The person who raised you and shaped you is now witnessing one of the biggest moments of your life, something so emotional, grounding, and meaningful.

Getting to honor that connection during a ceremony is something I never take for granted. Happy Mother’s Day to the women who have loved and supported every step of the way.

Did you get engaged in summer 2025? Are you planning your wedding for summer 2026? If so, here are five things I always tell my couples to keep in mind as you start planning.

Summer weddings are beautiful, but they require intention, from thinking through the timing of your ceremony to making sure your guests feel comfortable in the heat. I always encourage couples to plan around natural light, build in space for the day to flow, and have a backup plan (even when the forecast looks perfect). The smallest details like shade, water, and pacing end up making the biggest difference in how your day actually feels.

At the end of the day, the goal is a celebration that feels effortless, comfortable, and fully present, for you and everyone there with you.

I’m loving the shift we’re seeing in 2026 weddings, couples are moving away from trends for the sake of trends and choosing details that actually feel meaningful to them. From candid photography to personalized touches throughout the day, the best weddings are the ones that feel genuine, intentional, and full of connection.
