What's up everyone. As we continue prep our latest project behind the scenes we're keeping a close eye on the entertainment landscape. We came across a report that because received so much engagement online about their choose your adventure show called , the company has decided to "double down". This time next year you can expect to see at least two new choose your adventure stories and at least four the following year. Netflix created an entirely new writing tool to aid their writers as they begin to explore this new territory. Reports are that not all will be science fiction. Instead of launching it's own platform, will Disney take control of Hulu? Disney continues to make headlines with this recent news.
According to reports, Disney is eyeing AT&T's ~$930 Million dollar stake in Hulu. Currently, AT&T owns 10%. Disney is also seeking approval from the SEC to purchase 21st Century Fox's ~$2.7 Billion dollar stake in Hulu. Currently, 21st Century Fox own 30%.
If both sales were to happen, in addition to the 40% of Hulu it already owns, Disney would own 70% of Hulu.

Since removing their Marvel catalog from Netflix there have been rumblings that Disney is launching their own platform. Is the Hulu takeover their plan?

Facebook recently launched a fan subscription feature for creators. It's pitched as the "Patreon Killer"(Patreon allows creators to create a pay wall for exclusive content.) However, reports are that it's more like Youtube or Twitch fan subscriptions. Except, the price for the FB fan subscription feature is standard across the board for all creators at $4.99 and apparently, creators that use it are giving Facebook unrestricted access to use the creators exclusive content.
