She has promoted various parties throughout the years including the World renown Club Shelter. oe Claussell, Rich Medina, Disciple, David Morales, Tony Humphries, Ruben Toro and 'The Wizard' Brian Coxx making her a force to be reckoned with! REDness comes with an extensive background in radio and television advertising, working for the 3rd largest ad agency in the world Draft Worldwide. She gradually became more involved in her own events and promotions and has made that into a full-time job for the last 10 years. She is no stranger to the intimate details necessary to plan, promote and advertise an event. REDness is Co-Founder of the 1st Dance contest held at the 2006 Winter Music Conference, “The CHMW Freestyle Dance-Off”. She is also Co-Founder and Producer of House Dance International, a large scale event going on it's 5th year. HDI is a 4 day House Dance Festival which incorporates parties, contest, workshops, choreography showcases, film screenings and more. The event draws dancers and dance enthusiasts from around the world and doubled in size each year from its 1st year to the 3rd. Here she worked Internationally bringing in sponsorships, doing public relations and running the event firsthand, from its inception to reality. REDness is promoter/co-host of the popular weekly House Dance event, Soulgasm NYC where she does everything from designing weekly flyers, e-mail/on-line promotions and creating drinks specials to booking over 300 guest DJs in the past 15 years. The party has grown enough in popularity to have an offspring, Soulgasm Hawaii & Soulgasm Thailand, which she also oversees. In 2007 REDness and her business partner created “The Seaport Soul Series”, a wildly popular, weekly, outdoor event at New York’s famous South Street Seaport. From this, they were invited to re-produce the weekly event for the re-opening of Governors Island in 2009. In the midst of all this REDness also co-founded the popular monthly parties In2Deep, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, Sunday Shoutin' Hall, Aftermath Afterhours, Kiss My Black Ass, The Sexy Bitch Tour in Miami, Together B & more. In 2010 HDI was invited to have it's winners do a showcase in Civitanova Danza, in Civitanova Marche, Italy. REDness was also invited as a representative and to coordinate this innovative event. Shortly after this she received a call asking her to join the team of the world renown Club Shelter. Here she handles DJ bookings, guest bookings, websites and venue issues as well as promotes their events. Recently sitting on a panel discussion for “Women in House Music” at The Aljira Center for Contemporary Arts her efforts towards the Dance Community were described as “ground-breaking”. She is a mover and shaker - watch for her in a city near you! After Hurricane Irma, Red collaborated with her good friend Lil Ray to did a Hurricane Relief for the Islands. They collected barrels & barrels of donations and good which were shipped to various affected Islands. In 2020, as covid hit and venues shut down, Red started House in the House, a virtual Friday party that is still going strong. In June 2020, as part of House in the House, she did a Virtual Juneteenth Music Marathon & FUNraiser for Black Youth Project 100 raising money and awareness for leaders of the future. Most recently, in January 2021, she did a Virtual New Years Day Music Marathon & FUNraiser for Treehouse Cares, raising money for those in need.
