🙏🏽✝️💜🦋✌🏼💐 Samplings From A Hippie . . .

My feet aren’t going to touch the ground for another 57 or so years! 😍😜

My book signing this past Friday at Christos’ Trattoria was unbelievable.

I’d catch myself looking back and forth across the crowded patio to just breathe and take it all in, covered in goosebumps that aren’t going away any time soon.

And all I can think of is what I’ve said so often in the last 5 years . . . in this most difficult chapter of my life, I am blessed beyond measure.

I cannot thank y’all enough for attending. Your love, your hugs, your chats — your REAL chats sharing twisted humor — were amazing! —

And they were beautiful Signs that I’m absolutely on the right track in sharing my story with more book signings — and with talks with workshops — to be real in helping as many others in this Club we wanted no part of.

I would be so honored for you to connect me with any organizations, clubs, and 55+ communities.

Then another HUGE blessing for this Yiya came the next day from my grandson Alton ! In his BEST impersonation of his Pappoo, he told me, ‘THOSE PEOPLE WERE ALL THERE FOR ME!’ And he didn’t stop there; he continued entertaining me in his Pappoo’s voice with more one liners that had me laughing so hard, I had to get Thom’s godmother, my Sister Reine on the phone to have her hear them!

I am truly blessed beyond measure.

And sooooooooo very thankful.

My heart is full, and I am so overwhelmed and so very thankful to all of you who came to my book signing this evening.

Every time I looked around the crowded patio at Christos' Trattoria, the goosebumps just kept compounding! Thank you again, Chris & Jennifer, for hosting this beautiful evening!

‘I had the pleasure of meeting Roy and Rory about 8 years ago. A blessing and joy to call them neighbors and friends. His passing was heartbreaking. I had the pleasure of attending Rory's book signing tonight and have her sign my copy in her signature purple pen. I came right home, grabbed my blanket and a sat on my sofa and read it cover to cover. I cried, I laughed, I cried and laughed some more. The love shared between these two is amazing, heart warming, inspiring and meant to be. They loved each other lock, stock, and barrel. They lived life to the fullest. Rory is riding the waves, while finding her way without Roy. But she is and will always be surrounded with his love. There are always signs.’
