Most times the best things in life have absolutely nothing to do with work.

Soon-to-be 74, I’m still showing up for LIFE. 💜🦋

Yesterday that meant an incredible day at Auburn with my family, where my oldest grandson Caleb is a sophomore.

We walked that gorgeous campus, watched Auburn beat Vanderbilt 21–15 with about 88,000 of our closest friends 😂 — and then headed to Toomer’s Corner!

Apparently Hippie Dippie Rory is officially back in the TP business after a 10-year hiatus! 🤣🧻🌳

Caleb encouraged me:
'C'mon, you got an arm!'

Oh, I still got it! 😂

And please note the arm Thomas has with HIS roll! Apparently this family takes its toilet-paper athletics seriously. 🤣🧻💪

I also spent the day laughing with my daughter-in-law Michelle, who shares my wonderfully TWISTED sense of humor. I was blessed with a mother-in-law I adored — who I’m convinced is now raising hell in Heaven — and somehow I’ve been blessed all over again on the other side of that relationship.

And sometimes a wonderful day is possible because somebody else lovingly has your back. BIG thanks to our dear friend Pam St. Cloud for taking such wonderful care of Gypsy while I was gone. 💜🐾 Because I knew my girl was in great hands, I could be completely present with my family.

At this stage of my life, I’m more convinced than ever that we don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to enjoy the hell out of being alive.

Whether I’m helping a business get seen, writing about life after loss, laughing with my family, or throwing toilet paper into a tree 🤣, I want to show up exactly as I am.

Real. A little ridiculous. And still living with gusto.

That’s not just my brand.

That’s my life. 💜🦋
