Happy Wednesday!

Haven't had much luck with waterfall photography lately. Unfavorable conditions have followed me all season 😂

Towards the end of the day we decided to take a shot and I'm glad we did. Made some good photographs here that I can't wait to share.

Also, it's hard to beat a ND/Mist filter for long exposures 👀

Chasing color. Grab a seat and enjoy the views. Jumped in the Silverado and headed down to Letchworth State Park.

One thing I never leave home for a shoot without is my polarizer.

You'd be surprised how much light can reflect off those leaves and the polarizer cuts it all out. Using the polarizer makes color so much more rich and not washed out. Works wonders for cars and landscapers.

Adirondack Park

At nearly three times the size of Yellowstone National Park, Adirondack Park is the largest park in the contiguous United States.

One of my favorite areas of Adirondack Park is the area around Lake Placid. Last year we were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful a-frame.

Being a short drive from Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain was such a pleasure. You can always find something nearby to keep active and explore nature. I would recommend this a-frame to anyone looking in the area! 🙌🏼

One of my favorite spots in New York, anytime of the year but especially during autumn is...

Watkins Glen State Park!

The gorge trail is a gem. During the fall, beautifully colored leaves rain down into the gorge, lining the trail and walls of the gorge. This make for some levely scenery, especially when you factor in the waterfalls!

Going to share a few of my favorite places to visit on New York to catch that sweet fall foliage 🍁🍂

Letchworth State Park:

Here you can find spectacular views and multiple waterfalls. Cabins, train bridges, and inns. This park has it all. Have you been to LSP? Let me know you favorite places there if you have!

One of my favorite waterfalls from the Big Island of Hawaii, Rainbow Falls. If you go in the morning, you can often catch a rainbow at these falls from the mist.

I never made it here before noon so I missed out on the rainbow but seeing the falls regardless was an amazing opportunity.

Of course, I can't mention Hawaii without my thoughts going out to everyone affected by the wildfires on Maui. I wish I could do more to help out but for now I have added a link to a fundraiser to benefit our Maui ohana. Anything you can afford will help.

Letchworth State Park will always hold a special place in my heart. There are always so many amazing wonders to see each trip there.

You can check out some easy to view waterfalls or hike to some less popular falls that are out of the way.

Ready to head back soon! I really need to get to a sunrise this year.
