when you're building your own business... messages & reminders like this one are few & far between. but, this is what it's all about.

super grateful for the handful of paying clients we've secured this year, as well as my newly hired team members that have been delivering value from day one to support our mission.

for next year, we're only looking to sign on 5 new clients (for now). we're digging deeper instead of wider, and prioritizing quality and results over quantity of sales volume, or unsustainable streams of revenue, overall.

one day at a time. here's to building a future life we're all continuously grateful to show up for! 🙏🏽

hi folks // business inquiries are on the rise recently and in terms of new client acquisition, the pace has been absolutely booming. we're still open for business and considering taking on new clients but I am personally becoming more selective about 1) when, 2) for what and 3) to whom I can make myself available.

if you've been trying to reach me to schedule a time to discuss a potential project together, please reach out to my team at [email protected] and one of my new hires will get us connected at my earliest available opening. to my currently active, already-onboarded clients: nothing has changed about our contracts & the terms of our engagements. our small business is in it's first phase of growth, earlier than anticipated, and my team expanding is a direct result of us learning how best to position the business for sustainable growth without compromising on quality outcomes and optimal performance.

special thank you to everyone who has either DM'ed me, referred clients/prospects to me, and altogether, all of you who have supported this business at such an early stage. 🙏🏽

all of this support has been completely unexpected but I'm thankful we're being well-received in the marketplace. hoping to square away all new client onboarding for 2025 by end of year. in any case, even as I become less personally contactable, please know, it's not personal at all - but I simply can no longer afford to be so generous with my time, knowledge, or ideas. thank you all!

✌🏽✌🏽 it’s really special that each person interviewed here in this video —
1) had no idea they were going to be filmed that day, and
2) had not been notified in advance that they would be asked any questions.
3) In fact, a couple of them had not even met each other before this very day.

It was totally unrehearsed & unprepared, by design. But based on the alignment of the answers we provided, you’d think we coached them or something, because everyone conveyed similar sentiments. ✨

Our videographer, Carson, asked us all “what does The Mango Jam mean to you?”, and everyone’s answers seemed effortlessly parallel, highlighting the following:

🥭 the freedom to be yourself
🥭 unexpectedly life changing
🥭 creating something beautiful
🥭 inclusive sense of community
🥭 truly amazing & awe-inspiring
🥭 self development/so much learning
🥭 free flowing, improvisational and fun
🥭 collaborative/collective social impact

In 2023, something of a ripple effect occurred across our community in Western NY. At every session, gig, festival, etc. that we played, our authenticity as artists shone brightly, illuminating many of the people in our lives & across audiences. 🫶🏽

So, this is a thank you to our listeners and core members. There’s still much more to come... 🙏🏽
