"THE DISCOVERY" - Wabash Museum Video Production
Volunteer Positions Available
Are you interested in film production? Want real hands-on experience on a professional video shoot?
Up There Media is producing a fundraiser video for The Wabash Museum, and we're looking for high school and college students to join our crew as volunteers.
What You'll Do:
Shadow professional cinematographers and directors
Assist with lighting, camera setup, and audio
Help manage production logistics and equipment
Gain real-world video production experience
Work on a project that matters (supporting your local museum)
Time Commitment:
2-3 days of filming (flexible scheduling)
Training provided before shoot day
Estimated 6-8 hours per day
What You'll Learn:
How professional video production actually works
Camera operation and lighting techniques
Directing actors and managing on-set logistics
Post-production workflow (if interested)
Real portfolio material for college/career applications
Requirements:
Genuine interest in film/video production/photography
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow direction and work as part of a team
Willingness to do unglamorous work (moving cables, adjusting lights, etc.)
