A Friend, a Founder, and Now a Candidate: Mike Mills Is Running for School Board

We've got some exciting news to share — and a little bit of personal history along with it.

Mike Mills, who helped start Notice Me Marketing and Media before venturing off six years ago to build his now-thriving coffee business, has officially announced his candidacy for the Marion County School Board, District 4. He's running for the seat being vacated by outgoing board member Nancy Thrower.

Mike is a Navy veteran with an MBA, the current chair of the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, an adjunct professor at the College of Central Florida, and the owner of Symmetry Coffee and Sipping Grounds. In other words — he shows up, he serves, and he gets things done.

We've known Mike a long time. He's smart, principled, and deeply invested in this community. The kids of Marion County would be lucky to have him advocating for them, and we're proud to throw our full support behind his campaign.
