Mystery gift alert! 🕵️ We’ve been filming content for Farm To Porch - Lake Country and someone surprised us with a beautifully wrapped box of cake pops as a thank-you. The lake doesn’t ask what you’ve been through. It just asks if you’re ready.

Since the late 1980s, the Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club has welcomed skiers of every ability onto Pewaukee Lake — through the Greg Wilkinson Adaptive Waterfront Festival and a long-standing partnership with the Adaptive Community Approach Program. This year, dozens of adaptive skiers took a turn on the water — including a group of veterans, some skiing for the very first time.

Whatever they carried in, they got to leave on the shore.

Catch the club in action — free ski shows every Thursday night, Memorial Day through Labor Day, at Lakefront Park in Pewaukee.

We saw this relic wisculture unearthed and wanted to head into the same mall and look around and see its status. Good ol’ JC Penny’s is still there, but sadly Sam Goody isn’t.
