CHEERS TO 2021

I know I don’t post on my own social media page often (this is my first time this year — oops), but I’ve been busy posting on my client’s social media platforms this year.

And, to my clients, I say a big “THANK YOU” for making this my MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR YET. I’ve gotten to go on every trip I wanted and haven’t had to miss out on anything that was going on in my personal life + everyone knew they’d still be taken care of, no matter where I was!

This year, I’ve designed a lot of websites, done a lot of client reach, taken content pictures, written and sent out a lot of emails, created content calendars and strategies, posted on peoples behalf, and a whole lot more. I’ve had clients all over Oklahoma, some in Texas, Vegas, and even in Hawaii 🤍

I’m overjoyed to say that my January books are already full, so if I haven’t already talked to you about working together, DM me about February! I’d love to chat.

I have SO many friends who are entrepreneurs and creatives who just don’t know where to start. That’s the thing though — you just have to start. Take the first step. The calculations, algorithm hiccups, and all of those things will come after. It’s something you learn to navigate as you go.

Your dream is worth chasing. People need what you can offer. Someone is searching for a business owner just like you.

People will come for your business, but stay because of your character. Be true to who you are. Represent your business well. Be relatable and personable. Success will come. Just make the post. Take the jump.

Just walking back in like I didn’t just take a full month off my own socials.

I can’t go through all of November without telling y’all how GRATEFUL I am for my little business and everyone who has supported it.

Starting your own business is scary and intimidating, but when you’ve got good people around you, it makes everything a little easier.. and when you’ve got clients like mine, it makes everything worth while.

I know that not everyone needs a Digital Marketing Strategist, but everyone needs SOMETHING + today, on small business Saturday, please remember to shop small. This is how people feed families; how Christmas presents get bought; how plane tickets back to families are purchased. Your supporting people’s DREAMS! let’s talk about speaking LIFE over people⁣
⁣
recently, my business has been growing (yay!), which has meant less time with friends + for myself while I do the initial onboarding process with new clients.⁣
⁣
two weeks ago, someone made it a point to tell me how bad of a friend i am because i took longer than usual to respond to texts, because they knew I was on my phone anyways (I work from my phone 80% of the time, so this is true). they told me all of the ways i wasn’t being a friend because i was “too focused on business”.⁣
⁣
this whole conversation WRECKED me. was I a bad friend? Did everyone feel this way about me? They knew it wouldn’t be forever.. i just launched a business... i’m just in the beginning stages of things.. it’ll slow down. why aren’t they happy for me? am I really being as selfish as they said I am? these questions ate away at me and my mental health for at least a week. the whole conversation was on replay.⁣
⁣
fast forward to the other day. I’m in a group chat with about 13 other people and we spent a good chunk of that time just reassuring each other, encouraging one another, and speaking LIFE over everyone. they didn’t know I was having a hard time. they didn’t know about the conversation I had the other day. they didn’t know that I was questioning whether I was “worthy” to be in their lives with how busy I’ve been lately. they just poured into the well that the other conversation had previously drained.⁣

be intentional. speak life. encourage your friends. love better. do better. be better.
