It’s weekends like this that make photography so rewarding. Sunday was amazing weather and perfect for getting out and taking photos at a church in Seattle. It was busy but fun.

I love taking photos and especially those candid moments that make community so strong. One of those moments happened in one of the kids class rooms where one of the kids saw me and really wanted to smile for the camera and show me he Bluey figures and then dumping them out in front of me. Its moments like this that just make your day and make photography special.

Something that was said many times at a conference I attended was the word “Be Ambitious
Don’t wait until your ready. Just get started.”

It was said lots of different ways by a variety of speakers, but it is so true. If you want anything in like you have to be a little ambitious.

Another thing that was said would be “having the Audacity to Ask”

You never know what might happen if you just pursue what you want.

Having the mindset that you did the thing because you didn’t know you couldn’t.

There is a lot going on in the landing social media, it feels like everything is changing, it’s always the algorithm. But if you really think about nothing really has changed.

I recently heard someone say something on the concept of social media. We are told that we need to build authority and show expertise, sometimes in doing that we loose some of our humanity.

Don’t just show your expertise, show your humanity.
One builds trust, the other build loyalty.

When it comes to building a personal brand it’s about connecting on a human level that builds loyal fans, which again will lead to authority.
