Big news for tech policy: Republicans (78%) and Democrats (86%) agree—states should regulate AI, not wait for a federal freeze. The proposed 10-year moratorium on state AI laws in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act could stifle privacy and anti-discrimination protections. With Congress slow to act on tech (25 years without major laws!), states are stepping up. 🚀 Just wrapped an inspiring talk with HR pros in Huntsville, AL, about integrating AI into HR processes! The excitement for AI is palpable, but so are the concerns. Here’s what I keep hearing about AI in the workplace:

3️⃣ Bias in Recruiting: Unmonitored AI systems are rejecting great candidates for unknown reasons. Regular audits are a must to ensure fairness. ⚖️
4️⃣ Ethics & Trust: Concerns about “Big Brother” vibes and data privacy are real. Anonymizing data and building trust are critical steps forward. 🔒
