In every story, there is strength. In every ripple, there is hope.
As we enter Mental Health Awareness Month, we are looking back at the heart of why we do what we do. Love IV Lawrence began as a tribute to the life and legacy of Lawrence Hundley Dimmitt, IV. A way to turn the profound pain of loss into a movement of healing for our entire community.
What started as a story of a friend, a son, and a light gone too soon has grown into a mission to ensure that no one else has to walk the road of mental illness or su***de loss alone.
We are so much more than an organization. We are a community dedicated to the heavy lifting. From funding early intervention in schools to supporting the nonprofits on the front lines, our work is about one thing: saving lives.
In this video, you’ll hear the story of our beginning, our mission, and the voices of our incredible grant recipients who are doing the vital work of healing in Tampa Bay.
May is a time to talk openly, but it’s also a time to act. Su***de touches us all in different ways, but together, we can shed light on the resources that provide a path forward.
You are not alone. There is hope. And there is a community here that loves you.
Join the movement. Fund the hope. https://www.cftampabay.org/give-now/love-iv-lawrence
