I definitely have had some anxiety these past few months, so I am so sorry I have been MIA. I have not had the capacity to post but here’s some life updates:
- I am officially married and had the wedding of my dreams 💍❗️
- Ended up having the busiest month of my business yet
- Spent a bunch of time with family, friends, my husband, and dogs 🥲
- Ate some really good food
- Got outdoors and adventured
- Spent a lot of time in the Word and deepening my faith in Jesus 🙏🏼

Happy Holidays! 🎄 I wanted to pop on to provide a much needed tip for my fellow photographers and business friends before Christmas and the New Year:

DON’T FORGET TO REST! 😴

I’m finally recovering from being sick for almost 2 weeks - tis’ the season. It could have been from the crazy Florida weather changes, something going around, or just pure burnout and stress.

‼️ This time of year, there is so much going on- everything is busy, life is busy, work is busy, and so is your brain! If you just take 10 minutes in-between your tasks for the day to get outside, exercise, stretch, eat good food, rest, it will be the answer to a lot of the problems that revolve around this time of year.

Whether you are crunching your finances, busy with clients, planning your holiday trips, shopping for Christmas, trying to plan time with friends, or it’s just a tough season with loved ones - resting your mind and body is key to a fruitful season.

+ don’t forget to say no once in a while. Say no to things that won’t bring you joy this season, say no to overworking yourself, say no to unhealthy foods if it will make you feel terrible. It’s okay to say no for a moment of peace.
