Trying to succeed online without having a strategy is like driving a car without an engine. It doesn't move.

In the short term, you can gain sales or even find a few new clients. However, without a clear and well-defined brand in place, you will hinder your potential to scale your business and generate profit.

A bold brand promise can help solidify a brand's position in the marketplace. It should also help define the brand's core values and mission.

Make it happen often and keep it 100% of the time.

Doing these two things will give you a definite advantage in the minds of your audience.

Brand promise doesn't have to be shared with the world.

It can be an internal mantra.

If you're getting started, and don't have a team, it's best to share your brand promise with your target audience.

Why were people so excited about the Apple Watch?

It wasn't because it was a smartwatch – there are already hundreds of those on the market.

No, people were excited about the Apple Watch because it was another Apple product and Apple now has a reputation for making game-changing technology with fantastic quality construction and elegant product designs.

In other words, it was the brand that sold the Apple Watch more so than the product itself.

Having a strong brand also makes it much easier to market your products or services and creating new opportunities to stay in the minds of your customers.

At the same time, your brand will also help you to inspire more emotion from your fans and customers.

Without a brand, you won't be able to connect with people and establish trust surrounding what you do.

For a while, I suffered from analysis paralysis.

I was consuming courses, reading books, and watching Youtube videos.

I was taking in all this information but not put it into practice.

The way I overcame this was by

✅ Stop caring what people thought
✅ Stop comparing myself to others
✅ I permitted myself to fail forward
✅ Enjoy the process

Your brand needs to focus on meeting the needs of your audience.

You want to position business's as the headquarters for the needs of your target audience.

Before you post anything on social media, ask yourself these questions.

🔸 Will this help my target audience obtain the results they want in their life?
🔸Is this promotional or educational content?
🔸 Is this something that will help them get to their goals quicker?
🔸 Is this something my customers can save and use later?
🔸Is this content easy to understand?
