Making money is not the end goal.

At some point, you start caring more about what that money gives you.

Your time.
Your freedom.
Your relationships.
Your quality of life.

Because making money means nothing if you’re miserable while making it.

We spend so much time asking God to change our circumstances that we forget He may be using those circumstances to change us.

The waiting.
The quiet work.
The seasons nobody sees.
The things that keep testing your patience, discipline, humility, and faith.

Maybe you’re not being delayed. Maybe you’re being developed.

Before you ask, “When will I get there?” ask yourself, “Who do I need to become to carry what I’m asking for?”

The promotion isn’t just about the position. It’s about the character required to sustain it.

A lot of business relationships hurt because we expect everyone to be a confidant when they were really a constituent.

Some people are in your life because they love you.

Some are there because you’re building something together.

Some are only standing beside you because you have a common enemy.

And none of those relationships are necessarily wrong.

The lesson is learning to recognize which is which.

When you put people in their proper place, you stop expecting the wrong things from them and you stop taking their next move personally.

Not everyone leaving is betrayal. Sometimes, the season just ended.

Sometimes, the confidence is the problem.

Impostor syndrome is doubting yourself despite having the experience, results, and evidence to back you up.

The opposite is when you overestimate your expertise before you’ve actually done the work.

There’s nothing wrong with not knowing yet.

Just don’t teach people how to run when you haven’t learned how to tie your own shoes.

Go accomplish it first. Then talk about it.

When people feel like you understand their problem better than they do, they start looking at you differently.

You don’t have to keep asking people to buy.

Create content that makes your ideal client feel seen, understood, and confident that you can help.

That’s what turns content into conversations.

Share this with a business owner you know. 💯

Your environment can quietly become your ceiling.

If every conversation is about why things won’t work, who’s to blame, what’s unfair, and why someone else has it easier, eventually that way of thinking starts to feel normal.

And you don’t have to believe someone is a bad person to recognize that they’re not good for where you’re going.

As a business owner, choosing who you spend time with matters. Not because everyone has to think exactly like you, but because the people around you should challenge you to think bigger, not constantly pull you back into the same excuses, complaints, and limitations.

Protect the mindset you’re building.

Who you surround yourself with matters more than you think.

So often we can’t figure out why we live in cycles of pain, despair, and quite honestly torment.

If we fail to live in a way aligned with God and quite frankly have the presence of His spirit in our lives, we open ourselves up to having other spirits creep in and wreak havoc!

The bottom line is without Christ we aren’t strong enough to fend off the enemy alone. No matter how disciplined, strong willed, or determined we may be.

The biggest trick of the enemy is to make us think he doesn’t exist.

If we aren’t careful he will ruin our lives and have us thinking we can beat whatever we are facing on our own or with human intervention only.

You say you want your business to change.

But are you willing to change?

Because the next level of your business will often require a version of you that your current habits, mindset, and behaviors can’t produce.

It’s easy to complain about what isn’t working. It’s harder to admit that something about you may need to change.

The people who win don’t spend all their time justifying why things aren’t working.

They change what they say they want, or they change themselves to get it.

You can’t do both.

Where are you being asked to change?
