Let’s talk about the pH of water and how it affects your health. Mentioning pH catapults most of you back to high school chemistry causing a glazed look and some confusion. But today, we’ll break this down and explain why the pH of water is so important to your health. Let’s start with the definition of pH: the measurement of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution; also the measurement of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. The lower end of the scale represents acidic water and the higher end of the scale represents alkaline water.

By now you’ve encountered bottled water that has the pH advertised right on the label and wondered whether it was just clever marketing or actually important. Well, it is important. The body maintains a normal blood pH of anywhere from 7.35 to 7.45. Anything that fluctuates outside of the normal range is indicative of illness. If the pH of the blood is below 7.35, acidosis occurs and inversely, anything above 7.45 indicates alkalosis. These are serious conditions occurring as a result of dysfunction in either the lungs or the kidneys, being respiratory or metabolic.

So now you can see how important the pH of your water really is in regards to your overall health, specifically alkaline water. But what is the best and most cost efficient alkaline water available? 🤔

THIS IS A BUSINESS

THIS ISN'T JUST ABOUT DRINKING KANGEN WATER.

THERE'S A BUSINESS BEHIND THE PRODUCT.

You've already learned about Kangen Water.

You've learned what it is.
You've learned how the machine works.
You've learned why people are interested in it.

Now let's talk about something completely different:

The business opportunity.

Enagic has an Independent Distributor model built around its water-ionization systems.

That means there are two completely different ways to look at the product:

You can be the customer.

Or you can explore becoming the business owner.

As a distributor, you're not simply buying a machine.

You're learning how to market a product, generate customers, make sales, build relationships, and develop a business.

That's the opportunity.

Message me OPPORTUNITY if you'd like to learn more about the business.

The product may open the door.

But people build the business.

When you step into the Kangen business opportunity, you're not just learning how to talk about a machine.

You're developing skills that can follow you anywhere:

Educating people.
Starting conversations.
Listening.
Following up.
Serving customers.
Sharing your experience.
Building trust.

Because business isn't just about having a product.

It's about knowing how to communicate value and connect with people.

And that's something you can learn.

You don't need to be a natural salesperson.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You need to be willing to learn, show up, and build.

The product creates the conversation.

Relationships create the opportunity.

And that's where this starts getting interesting.

Comment BUILD if you want to learn what it actually takes to build a business around a product.

WHAT IF YOU WEREN’T LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB… BUT FOR THE RIGHT VEHICLE?

Entrepreneurs tend to look at opportunities differently.

They don’t just ask: “Do I like the product?”

THEY ASK:

Is the company established?
Is there real demand for the product?
How does the compensation plan work?
What are the overhead and inventory requirements?
Can the business be duplicated?
Can it scale beyond my own individual effort?

That’s where the business side of Enagic becomes worth looking at.

Enagic has been operating for more than 50 years and distributes its products internationally.

Its Independent Distributor business is built around the sale of Enagic products not payment for recruiting people and Enagic uses a patented 8-Point Compensation Plan.

And there is something else I respect about the structure.

For most people, the normal path is to enter the business through a traditional product purchase.

But Enagic also has a special program called Tokurei also known as the Samaritan Plan designed for someone who truly does not have the financial means to begin through the standard purchase or financing options.

I don’t view Tokurei as the “easy way in.” I view it as a Good Samaritan provision.

Financial circumstances do not disqualify someone who has the determination to build.

It’s about recognizing potential.

And when I evaluate an opportunity, I’m not simply looking at what I can sell.

I’m looking at the system behind the sale.

Can someone else learn what I learned?

Can the process be repeated?

Can customers become referrals?

Can one conversation create another?

Can a business grow beyond what one person can personally accomplish?

That is duplication.

Kangen Water may be what introduces someone to Enagic.

But for the entrepreneur, there is another conversation:

What does the business model look like?

You’re representing a premium water-ionization system manufactured by an established international company, while building an independent distribution business around education, demonstration, relationships and product sales.

No traditional storefront.

No warehouse full of inventory.

And you can build according to your own goals and pace.

This isn’t about convincing everyone.

It’s about finding the people who recognize a product, a company, a compensation structure and a system worth taking a serious look at.

Some people will simply want the water.

Some will become customers.

And some will look at the business model and say:

“Now THAT interests me.”

Reply OPPORTUNITY or PM me “OPPORTUNITY,” and I’ll direct you to the duplicatable system so you can see exactly how the business model works.

IT’S BIGGER THAN ENAGIC

We’ve been following the Enagic story from Okinawa in 1974 to the 1987 certification milestone.

But here’s where the story gets even more interesting:

Japan’s history with alkaline electrolyzed-water technology goes beyond Enagic.

Japan has an established regulatory framework for water-electrolysis generators. Today, Japan’s PMDA recognizes continuous-flow water electrolyzers as Class II medical devices, with defined specifications for producing drinkable alkaline electrolyzed water and non-drinkable acidic electrolyzed water.

And there’s an important detail:

The Japanese regulatory framework describes an intended use involving the generation of alkaline electrolyzed water for improvement of certain gastrointestinal symptoms in home use.

That does not mean:

“Japan says alkaline water cures everything.”

It means there is a documented Japanese regulatory and technological history surrounding this type of equipment.

That distinction matters.

Because when we understand the actual framework, we can appreciate the technology without turning regulation into exaggerated health promises.

So now you know…

The story isn't just about Enagic.

It’s also about Japan’s relationship with water-ionization technology.

And tomorrow, we’re going to bring it back to Enagic:

🇯🇵 Why is Japanese manufacturing such a big part of the Enagic story?

WHAT DID JAPAN’S MINISTRY OF HEALTH ACTUALLY MEAN?

When we hear “Japan’s Ministry of Health,” it’s important to understand the history behind that name.

Back in 1938, Japan established its Ministry of Health and Welfare. The ministry handled a broad range of responsibilities, including medical care, disease prevention, medical supplies, food hygiene, water supply, and public welfare.

So when we talk about the 1987 Enagic certification milestone, we're referring to the Ministry of Health and Welfare that existed at that time.

Then, in 2001, Japan reorganized its ministries, bringing the Ministry of Health and Welfare together with the Ministry of Labour to create today's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW).

And here's the distinction I really want you to remember:

A historical government certification is not the same thing as the government endorsing every health claim made about a product.

We're looking at the history, institutions, and facts behind the Enagic story not turning history into a health promise.

And tomorrow, we're going one step deeper:

What does Japan's broader regulatory framework actually say about alkaline electrolyzed-water technology? 👀🇯🇵
