Trends come and go. Timeless stories keep spinning. How do you algorithm-proof your brand to become magnetic instead of chasing trends.

You know that feeling.
The algorithm changes. Your content stops working. You rebuild the whole strategy, again.

Then it changes again in six months. And you're back at zero.

Platforms change. Formats change. Trends change. Algorithms change.

Human nature doesn't.

Brand archetypes are built on patterns of human behavior and storytelling that have existed for thousands of years, long before there was a feed to optimize for or an algorithm to chase.

So instead of rebuilding your brand every time the internet shifts under you, you build it around something that was never tied to the internet in the first place.

Trends come and go. Good stories keep spinning.

That's the whole idea behind knowing your archetype. Not another content formula to learn and then replace next quarter. The one part of your brand that doesn't expire, no matter what the algorithm does next.

Take the free Brand Archetype Quiz to find yours. Link in bio.

A Multifamily Property just really needs a logo. A full brand identity is just a "nice to have" - you really don't need to put it in the marketing budget.

Just remember....
Prospects don’t remember the amenities list. They remember how they felt.

When landing on the website, reaching out, entering the building, interacting with the leasing team, seeing the lifestyle of the residents on social media.

Multifamily branding shifts the mindset from renting an apartment to buying into a lifestyle. It translates physical space into emotional connection.

In dense markets the floor plans and amenities are close to identical. Brand positioning, from strategy through ex*****on, is what distinguishes the asset.

People don’t rent square footage. They buy a reflection of their identity.

Your AI will never tell you your work is bad.
It's built to please you.

So it approves the flat draft.
The generic layout.
The piece that's fine and forgettable.

That's why so much AI work looks and sounds the same.
Everyone's asking AI what it thinks. And it thinks it's good. It's the world's greatest customer service agent.

So how do you turn AI into your creative director?
You stop asking for approval. You start telling it to coach you.
Give it a role. Name the job. Tell it to push back.

That's part of one step of my 4-Step Method: how to use AI without sounding and looking like you used AI.

My exact workflow and prompts for turning AI into a creative director, so you can build pieces that do the selling for you.

Outsourcing skilled jobs might boost a company's bottom line, but what does it do to our local economy? It's easy to choose the cheaper or faster option, but every dollar you spend locally is an investment back into your own community, and a step toward supporting someone's dream.

Next time you need a product or service, ask yourself: Where is my money going?

Anyone else noticing that every AI-made flyer kind of looks the same lately?

Same banner strip across the top. Text dropped over a photo with a fade. That row of little icons with a bullet point under each one, straight out of a PowerPoint deck circa 2008. It’s not that it looks bad exactly, it just all looks the same. AND you can’t read most of it 😩😩

Talk about a graphic designer’s nightmare, the eyesore, and for the most part people don’t seem to care, which is honestly the most disheartening part of all.

It hurts my little hierarchy and negative space loving heart. Because if people don’t care, then all my work has been for nothing!

Just joking, a little. But if you do care, I’m on a mission to conquer the AI flyer pandemic. Join me! Together we can combat the seas of sameness. And if you insist on using AI to make your graphics, let’s make sure you’re doing it the best way possible.

Try this!

Meet the Caregiver.

The brand people trust to look after the thing they can't carry alone.

It's driven to protect and nurture, and it builds trust through warmth and reliability. Its superpower is making people feel safe. It takes the weight off your shoulders and hands back calm, and that's what turns a one-time buyer into someone loyal for years.

You see it in brands like Dove, Volvo, and Johnson & Johnson.

The clients drawn to it have been carrying something alone for too long, and they're done doing it by themselves. They stay because you make them feel safe letting go.

So, what kind of brand are you?
Take the quiz and meet the brand you're built to be.

If it don’t make dollars, it don’t make sense.

I say this to myself more than I’d like to admit. Usually around hour two of tweaking something on my own website that no client has ever seen. 😆😂

It feels like progress because it takes effort.

The real question isn’t whether a task is useful. It’s whether it moves you closer to getting paid… and if the answer takes more than a sentence to explain, it goes to the bottom of the list for the day.

Focus on your revenue generating task first the rest after.

Priorities aren’t about doing more. They’re about knowing which work actually pays.

Meet the Sage.

The Sage is driven by one thing: the pursuit of truth. It wants to understand how things work, all the way down, then shares what it learns to guide you.

Its superpower: making the complex clear. It takes the noise and turns it into a clean, usable answer, and that’s what earns instant trust.

Sage brands teach. Calm, clear, credible. They skip the hype and let the substance carry it. Think Google, TED, National Geographic.

Drawn to it: thinkers, researchers, lifelong learners. The people who want their intelligence respected and a source they can trust.

Most Al-made flyers look like the ones we were making in 2010

That same banner strip across the image. Text dropped over a photo with a fade on one side. A row of little icon illustrations along the bottom, each with a bullet point next to it, like someone lifted a slide out of a PowerPoint deck. Every piece of information the owner could think of, crammed in with no hierarchy and nothing telling your eye where to land first.

I’m not anti-Al. I use it every day. But a flyer packed wall to wall isn’t a problem the software can solve for you, because it doesn’t know your business well enough to decide what matters most on the page or what someone should walk away remembering.

Most people will look at it and think it’s good enough.
They’re not wrong. It is fine. Fine just doesn’t build trust, and it doesn’t make you stand out when every feed looks the same.

If you have a little room in your budget, hire a designer to build you a brand kit and a set of reusable templates in Canva. Do that work once, up front, tailored to you.

Then keep using Al to move fast. You’re just moving fast inside something that looks like you.

People notice. It reads like you put thought into it, and when anyone can generate an image in ten seconds, the thought is what separates you.

Good design IS good business.
