Last weekend, we wrapped our multi-market series, The Summer Seat by American Express® Gold Card & Resy, in Chicago. In collaboration with Chef Diana Dávila and multi-medium artist Ben Giska, we transformed Mi Tocaya Antojería’s outdoor space by drawing inspiration from the Aztec god Xochipilli: the Flower Prince. Xochipilli represents creativity and summer pleasure; he is a patron of the arts linked to community celebration, nature, music, and dance. Driven by this shared ethos and known for their layered, vibrant expression, Chef Dávila and Giska brought these traditions to life with a cultural celebration centered around Xochipilli in our multi-medium dining experience.

As the beautiful summer season continues, so does The Summer Seat by American Express® Gold Card & Resy. Last week in Brooklyn, we transformed Bonnie’s in collaboration with head chef, Calvin Eng, and ceramics artist Leon Zhan. The peaceful bamboo garden was inspired by Eng’s grandmother’s home, and its focal point featured Zhan’s Chinoiserie, framed by illuminated, bamboo-lined faux rice paper walls. Local artist Han Seungmin constructed customized versions of his White Picket Chair as a unique touch for dinner service💫

Each summer, we crave the perfect table at every restaurant: the prime patio seat. Last week, in partnership with American Express® Gold Card & Resy, we kicked off The Summer Seat series with an unforgettable party at Lasita in LA. We reimagined Lasita’s patio alongside Lasita’s owner, Chef Chase Valencia, and mural artist Abel Macias. Pairing Macias’ dynamic visual environment with Valencia’s contemporary Filipino cuisine, the collaboration explored the shared spirit of hospitality, resilience, and joy that connects both cultures, creating a colorful gathering place where art and food become a celebration of identity and belonging✨

Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen how sports can unify people from all across the world. In the spirit of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we’re looking back at one of our favorite award-winning activations at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. We partnered with Visa to deliver a knockout hospitality experience for cardholders. At the heart of the action, the “Everywhere Lounge” buzzed with excitement and culture, featuring interactive games, special appearances, and AR that perfectly showcased Visa’s flair for innovation and ease.

This year, we partnered with Resy and American Express to bring a bespoke piano lounge to the 2026 James Beard Awards afterparty. Inspired by the kind of hidden gems diners dream about discovering, the space blended the warmth and intimacy of a secret supper club with a nod to Chicago’s rich jazz legacy, creating an atmosphere designed for lingering, listening, and celebrating.

Guests were treated to a food menu from two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Mashama Bailey, alongside cocktails from James Beard Award-winning Please Don’t Tell, and a curated selection of wines from Duckhorn. As the culinary community gathered to honor the year’s most outstanding talent across food, drink, hospitality, and media, the lounge offered the perfect backdrop for one of the industry’s most anticipated nights.

The James Beard Awards remain among the highest honors in American dining, and we were thrilled to help create a space where the celebration could continue long after the final award was announced.
