Our data team evaluated the performance of our streaming TV campaigns to identify trends against each campaign type. The following provides a snapshot of the aggregate performance of our 2023 campaigns for the apartment sector.

Key Takeaways:

🔑 ReTV is our best-performing OTT/CTV type for hotels.

🔑 Although Hulu is expensive to run, it drove a strong cost per conversion.

📺 ReTV is our streaming TV site retargeting service that showcases CTV ads to prospective renters and guests who have already visited your website. This campaign type had the lowest cost per conversion, driving highly-relevant ads to lower funnel prospects already researching your property.

Recently, Amazon Prime automatically opted-in its entire subscriber base to an ad-supported tier unless subscribers upgraded to their $2.99 ad-free tier.

The result?

According to the article, it now touts 130.4 million US ad-supported viewers this year accounting for 57.6% of subscription OTT video viewers.

The only “streaming service” with more ad-supported viewers is Youtube with 241.8 million US viewers. Youtube, owned by Alphabet, is Google's take on streaming TV albeit, a beast in its own category powered by user-generated content.
