Here’s a simple social media-focused plan any business can use to drive sales and buzz: pick one standout idea, show it in a short Reel or carousel, and make it easy to buy with one link and a clear deadline.

If your account has under 1K followers, here’s what actually moves the needle.👇

Reels = reach (median 134 vs 56 carousels, 23 images) — use Reels to get discovered outside your current audience.

Carousels = engagement (median likes 7 vs 6 on Reels) — teach, tell a story, or show before/afters to deepen trust.

Images = brand polish — keep your grid cohesive, but don’t rely on them for discovery.

Small-account game plan:
- Post 2–3 Reels/week (answers to FAQs, myths, quick tips, POVs)
- Post 1 Carousel/week (how-to, checklist, transformation, mini case study)
- Add strong hooks + keywords in captions, and a clear CTA (save, comment, DM)

This month, challenge yourself to raise the bar on your business's content:
1️⃣ Elevate your photos or videos, and focus on better lighting and cleaner edits.
2️⃣ Elevate your captions and tell a story, share a win, or give a quick tip.
3️⃣ Elevate your engagement and leave meaningful comments on other accounts in your niche.

What’s one area of your social media that you’re ready to elevate this month?

July’s word of the month is ALIGN — because growth only feels good when it's rooted in clarity, boundaries, and intention.

This month, I’m focusing on aligning with the right clients, the right energy, and the right strategies — and letting go of what no longer fits. If you’ve been craving a social media plan that feels aligned — simple, strategic, and supportive — this might be our sign to work together.

If you’re a small business owner in Massachusetts looking to grow your presence locally, these tips will help you connect with your ideal community — right here in your own backyard:

1. Use location tags on your posts and stories
Tag your town, neighborhood, or nearby landmarks (ex: “North Shore MA” or “Downtown Boston”) to boost visibility with locals who are already searching those spots.

2. Engage with other local businesses
Comment on, share, or shout out fellow MA-based businesses you admire. It builds goodwill and helps you tap into overlapping audiences.

3. Use polls, questions, and stickers in stories
Massachusetts customers want to support businesses they trust — and that starts with conversation. Stories are a powerful way to build real connections beyond the feed.

Your audience is already here. Let’s help them find you!
