I almost underestimated how much yesterday would mean to me.

I genuinely thought maybe 5 people would show up.

I was nervous. 😂

Instead, so many people came out to celebrate Morton Marketing 417 with me for our very first ribbon cutting with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce

And yes, I cried.

Travis Powell with Lamar Advertising, who ran the ribbon cutting and is also a dear friend of mine, said some incredibly kind things that completely got me. Then Kelley Lace from Midwest Family Marketing, another friend, said a few words and had me tearing up all over again.

Standing there in the most perfect weather, looking around at people who have supported me, my team, and this business, I had one of those moments where I just thought…

“Holy s**t. We really did this.”

Morton Marketing 417 started with a laptop, a whole lot of ambition, and a love for storytelling.

Five years later, we’re a team of 7. We’ve rebranded, launched a brand new website, work with clients locally and nationally, and I’ve had the opportunity to speak on stages I once only dreamed about.

None of that happened overnight. And none of it happened without a lot of hard work, mistakes, pivots, late nights, and refusing to give up.

I’m so damn grateful for my team, my clients, my friends, family, everyone who showed up yesterday, and especially Keenan Vogt, who has believed in me since day one. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without him.

Now, I’m ready to take a little time off, be completely unproductive, sleep, have fun, and remember that I have a life outside of work.

I’ll be out of office October 9–20, but clients, don’t worry. Everything is operating as normal because I have an incredible team who has this👏🏻💜

Cheers to 5 years, to yesterday, and to whatever the hell comes next. 🥂

Well, the countdown is officially on 🎉

One year from today, Keenan Vogt and I will be getting married at Haseltine Estate in Springfield, Missouri.

For the last ten months, we’ve dodged the “So, when and where are you getting married?” question every chance we’ve gotten, and now we finally get to tell everyone.

October 2, 2027. Haseltine Estate.

From the very beginning, we’ve been on a mission to make this feel different. We don’t want it to look or feel like every other wedding we’ve been to. We want it to feel personal, intentional, a little unexpected, and completely ours. Think romantic, old-world, and intimate, with plenty of little details that feel like us.

I can’t wait to see it all come together with the help of Misty Willinger Southwest Missouri’s Premier Wedding Planner , to have the people we love gathered in one place, and most of all, to finally marry you, Keenan.

Formal save-the-dates will be going out soon to those invited to this very special day.

Betting on yourself doesn't stop after you start the business.

People often think the biggest leap was starting Morton Marketing 417.

It wasn't.

The biggest leaps have come from choosing to evolve.

Hiring the team.
Investing in education.
Speaking on stages I once thought were out of reach.
