As a photographer, there is nothing more rewarding than your own friends trusting you and your camera to capture key moments. Laura and I moved to the US around the same time, 8 years ago. Her from Colombia, me from France. We met then and stayed friends ever since. We’ve celebrated each other’s milestones, sometimes in person, sometimes an ocean apart. And for this one, I was asked to capture it. I’m in awe of everything she’s built and became, and to documente her little family starting this new chapter felt so special. These children are so lucky to have her as their mamá.
