I just launched a new blog series called Let’s Redesign, where I reimagine logos, branding, and websites for LGBTQ+ owned and inclusive businesses based on first impressions of their online presence, with the goal of impressing them so much they hire me haha.
The first post focuses on Cake Life Bake Shop, a LGBTQ+ owned and operated Philadelphia-based bakery, and walks through how I approached redesigning their logo, what I changed, why I changed it, and how I centered q***r joy and community in the process. I found them while browsing for LGBTQ+ businesses near me and fell in love instantly.
