The history of beekeeping in the US has been whitewashed, and it’s time to recognize and support beekeepers of color. Cameron of the Black Hives Matter Project is a beekeeper in Nevada City, California, and has asked for your financial support to buy the apiary where he works, bringing it under black ownership in one of the least diverse counties in the state.⁣⁣⠀

We suggest a minimum donation of $10 per jar, but you can donate up to $50 a jar if you choose. Honey is available for porch-side pickup in Manayunk, delivery in the Philly area, and nationwide shipping.
