A7IV camera rig. I always wanted a compact and versatile camera rig that allows for quick modifications without the need for tools. This is the perfect lightweight rig for handheld shooting or tripod use. With one switch the camera can be detached from the core rig and within seconds you can mount it on the RS2 gimbal. It took some time to find the right components but thanks to YouTube and some trial and error, I now have the perfect camera rig for my needs.

Views, likes, comments, saves and shares are great, but what are the metrics that actually translate into revenue?

The more metrics you can track the better as you get more insights if you track more. But I also understand that you have limited time and resources available and may not be able to track every metric that is available out there.

So instead of tracking everything that you could possibly track, just focus just on the metrics that match your specific campaign goal.

Planning videos or content in general is still daunting task for many.

Since content is not something that you can touch, it can be difficult to figure out what to make out of it in the first place.

If this sounds familiar, have you ever tried to think of your content as a person?

For some reason it is so much easier for us to tell people what we want from them to do and how you want them to do it for you.

The next time you plan a video, try to think of it as hiring and training new employee.

I hope this helps to simplify the thought process and help you figure out what goals you want to achieve from a piece of content and how to communicate that to other members of the team or an external production agency.

Don’t believe everything that you read online.

I read countless times in marketing blogs that you have to start with a good strategy and then your content will perform better.

As much as I believe the strategy is a very important part, if you start with it, you will most likely have a result that isn’t what it should be and you won’t even know why.

You know you followed your strategy, you have a great team and awesome content but still the result isn’t what it should be so what could possibly be the issue?

Let’s say you want to visit someone that lives across the country.

You have 3 routes to choose from to get there:

1. The fastest way
2. The longest way
3. Something in between 1 & 2

Once you arrive your friend asks you about your journey. Your friend wants to know everything that happened along the way and if you have seen this and that.

Depending on what route you took, you may be able to give your friend valuable answers. But if you choose are shortcut, you are not able to give valuable answers.

If you choose the wrong route, your friend is going to disappointed and you are sad that you upset your friend and didn’t pay better attention to begin with.

Make sure you know enough about your friend so you can give him or her what he or she wants. In return, you will feel so much better because your friend is happy and that’s because of you.

Treat your audience like a good friend. Learn about them, what they like and why they like it so that you can give them what they want and get from them what you want in return.

It all starts with you and the route you choose at the beginning.

But when the secret agent runs into issues, he or she can do it with piece of mind because they have:

A. Multiple backup plans.
B. Considered ups and downs of each.
C. A Team that works hand in hand on the job without wasting anyones time.

🥸 The problem is that most people just don’t value the time it takes to do it well.

😂 They skip the all the regular season games and head straight to the playoffs expecting to win the trophy.

💪 Make sure you put in the work on your end before you start playing a game that you don’t know the rules to.
