Well, this was a pretty cool package to open today.

We've picked up a few pieces from M3 Tactical Tech over time because they make gear tough enough for our daily attic crawls. Everything we've gotten our hands on has that hand-made attention to detail you just don't get from mass-produced gear.

Not every job looks pretty halfway through.

This is the point where the old network has been disconnected, the new equipment is coming online, and there's cable everywhere.

By the end of the day, the customer had a modern UniFi network with faster Wi-Fi, better visibility into every connected device, and room to grow as their business grows.

Most people only see the finished product. We enjoy the part where the real work happens.

Every business has a story. Ours started with this rack.

It came from a business that was closing its doors. It was headed for the scrapyard.

We couldn't let that happen, we gave it a second life.

Today it's home to our Proxmox cluster, monitoring systems, development servers, and the tools we use to support our customers every day.

Eight years isn't a bad run.

This first-generation Google doorbell finally called it quits yesterday. When it failed, it didn't go quietly either: it took out the chime and overheated the transformer along the way.

The homeowner went from "everything works" to "nothing works" in a hurry.

We showed up the same day, tracked down the failure, replaced the doorbell, installed a new transformer, replaced the damaged chime components, and got everything back online.

Technology doesn't always fail on a convenient schedule, but that's exactly why local support matters.

By the end of the day they had a brand-new doorbell, notifications working again, and one less thing to worry about.

Sometimes the right business decision isn't the one the warranty paperwork says.

An outlet failed a little over 6 months after we installed it. The manufacturer's warranty expired at 90 days.

Could we have pointed to the fine print and charged for a replacement? Sure. Instead, we replaced it.

Our view is simple: an outlet shouldn't fail after six months, and our customers shouldn't have to argue about warranty terms for a basic repair.

We may be a small company, but we stand behind our work long after the invoice is paid.

That's the difference between completing a job and taking care of a customer.
