The political leadership would praise you for helping the poor but condemn you for asking why they are poor in the midst of plenty.

Helping the victims of a corrupt system makes us heroes but questioning the system that makes them victims makes us villains.

Every corrupt system prefers poor citizens to keep them under control. It is almost impossible to cure a sickness that is feeding the physician.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

The vehicle windscreen wiper was invented by a woman, Mary Anderson in 1903. Mary was not an engineer or a graduate.

She observed drivers stopping at the middle of the road in the rain to clean their windscreens with rags and decided to do something about it.

She developed a prototype wiper and took it to car makers. We must not be an expert to make an impact. All we need is passion to accomplish a mission.

BOUNDARIES ARE NOT SELFISH 🛡️

We need to be very sensitive about how we treat people 🤝 and how we handle situations.

Sometimes, someone does something small for us ✨, and we go to extreme lengths for them.
Someone gives us a little, and we feel pressured to give back far more than we should. 😣

A client may pay a small amount 💰 but expect you to work beyond your limits.
A friend may enter your life 👥, and you give them more access than you should.
Someone may help you once, and you feel obligated to sacrifice your peace just to please them. 😔

We must learn to set reasonable boundaries.🚧

Just because someone seems valuable to you
Does NOT mean you should trade your peace 🕊️ to keep them.

If you lose your peace and your joy,
It will affect you emotionally💔 and mentally 🧠
And eventually you may not even have the strength to help anyone at all.

Setting boundaries is NOT wickedness.❌
It is NOT pride.❌
It is NOT selfishness.❌

There is nothing wrong with telling someone you care about:
“I’m sorry, I can’t do this right now.”🙏

There is nothing wrong with telling a client, a friend, or even your boss:
“I wish I could help, but this is too much for me.”✋

Do NOT allow people to manipulate you
Just because they gave you something small,
Showed you a little kindness,
Or paid you a little money. 💵

That does NOT mean they should control your time⏰, your energy 🔋, or your life.

Stand your ground.💪
Build structure around your life. 🏗️
Be flexible when necessary, but don’t let flexibility become a habit that destroys your peace.

Take this seriously.⚠️

Your peace and your joy are among the most important things you have.💎

You Can’t Transform Others If You Haven’t Been Transformed

The sad truth is:
Many of us are passionate about changing the world 🌍
Yet we have not taken the time to change ourselves. 😔

We want to impact lives 🤝
We want to transform our communities 🏘️
We want to correct others and criticize what they are doing wrong 👉

But...
When was the last time you sat down to evaluate yourself? 🤔

When was the last time you examined:
The negative habits 🚫
The weaknesses 💔
The careless attitudes 😤
Or the areas where you are still growing 📈

Everyone has weaknesses.
Everyone has a side of themselves that needs improvement.

Instead of focusing so much on others...
Focus first on yourself. 👉👤

Because no matter how powerful your speeches 🎤
No matter how impressive your presentations 📊
No matter how convincing your actions appear 🎭

Your influence will always be limited if you are not genuinely transformed from within. 💡

People are not only influenced by what they hear or see.
What truly influences people is your lifestyle.
Who you are when they come close to you. 👀

When people get closer to you, what do they discover?
Are they disappointed 😞 because they see things that contradict what you present publicly?
Or are they even more inspired 🔥 because the real you is even better than what they expected?

These things matter deeply.
You cannot maintain strong and genuine relationships if your character is not solid from the inside. 🧱❤️

It is like getting a job 💼:
You can prepare a beautiful CV📄
You can impress people during an interview🤵
But once you are given the job, the real test begins.

You can exaggerate on a CV.
You can perform well during an interview.
But you cannot pretend when the work actually starts.
If you cannot perform, you will eventually be replaced. ⚠️

The same applies to life.
Many people package themselves beautifully on the outside 📦✨
But when others begin to work closely with them, they start noticing things that were hidden before.

Instead of trying to change others by force💪❌
Spend more time working on yourself. ✅

Focus on:

In Japan, it is rude to make phone calls in public places like restaurants, train and bus stations, shopping malls or supermarkets.

You can quietly chat or send messages to people but not call. The watchword of every Japanese is to avoid being a nuisance to others.

In Nigeria, it is rude to tell someone making call in a public place to lower his voice. People enter public buses and start playing loud music with their phones. Same action 2 totally different meanings.
