I am happy to announce that I am now doing the marketing for Groove Gallery and Records (groovepittsburgh) located at 4623 Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield! Groove is an art gallery and record store. They feature artwork from local artists that is available for purchase and they have thousands of records to choose from! They buy used records, too, so if you have a record collection that you’re looking to sell, bring it to Groove! It’s a really cool place and I highly recommend that you check it out!

Bittersweet news to share. One of the places where I have hosted Trivia Night and Mario Kart Night will be closing at the end of the year. Black Lotus Pizza has been an amazing place in the Bloomfield community for the past four years, bringing food and gaming together. The owners, Joe and Dave, have been really good to me and I’m so happy that I’ve had the opportunity to work with them. They’ve worked tirelessly to make BLP a success. While I am sad that they are closing, I wish them both the best in the future.

Mario Kart Night is still on for this Friday, December 20th, so come and enjoy one last event with me at Black Lotus!

BLP will be closing at the end of the year.

Unfortunately, my health has been on a decline over the past year. With my lease coming up I have had many long and hard talks with my partner and Joe and we decided that for my health we will be making 2024 our last year. It seems like that would be an easy decision with that in mind but, I won't lie, it has been the hardest decision that I have ever had to make.

With all that said, we are so proud of the food we have made, the community that we have formed and the games that have been played here. We love all of yinz! So come to our New Year's Eve Bash and let's close this place in style!

I do have some plans to keep bringing you some tasty BLP things but for now, I am going to recover and heal.
