We love to see the fruition of our hard work. But it is especially rewarding to be able to use our skills to enhance the work of dedicated organizations like the Global Center on Cooperative Security and Rights & Security International. In 2023, the Global Center on Cooperative Security and Rights & Security International consulted with nearly 200 peacebuilding and P/CVE implementers, human rights defenders, activists, lawyers, journalists, researchers, community leaders, and scholar-practitioners from around the world, assisted by an advisory committee of 15 diverse civil society representatives. ​The resulting report offers a framework and recommendations for the UN and its Member States to meaningfully engage civil society while incrementally addressing the preconditions for engagement. It is always a sincere pleasure to work with the Global Center on designing and laying out their publications, and this one is no exception.
