CALL FOR ART • America the Beautiful

In celebration of Marshall County's America 250 the Heartland Art Center and SoVan Media invites artists and community members of all ages to participate in America the Beautiful - a community art exhibition exploring what America means through creativity and artistic expression.

From small towns and city streets to family traditions, nature, music, history, agriculture, freedom, culture, and everyday moments, we invite thoughtful and creative interpretations celebrating the beauty and spirit of America.

🎨 All ages welcome
🖌 All artistic mediums welcome
⭐ Enter 1 artwork FREE
⭐ Additional entries accepted for a small fee

The exhibition opens June 30 at the historic Historic Downtown Fire Station in downtown Plymouth, the oldest standing fire station in the State of Indiana, offering a meaningful place to celebrate both creativity and history.

Depending on participation, additional downtown Plymouth locations may also feature artwork from the exhibition.

📅 Submission Deadline: Saturday, June 20
📦 Artwork Drop Off: June 23–27
🎉 Reception Celebration during the 11th Annual ARTS in the Street Festival on Saturday, July 25th

🇺🇸 Something special is coming to Marshall County this summer.

SoVan Media is proud to partner with the Heartland Art Center and the Marshall County Historical Museum’s America 250 Planning Committee to help bring “America The Beautiful” to life.

Beginning June 30 through July 25, Plymouth’s Historic Firehouse will feature a community art exhibition celebrating what America means to YOU.

Artists of all ages across Marshall County will be invited to participate, along with interactive activities for the community throughout the exhibit.

More details will be announced next week. ❤️

America The Beautiful
A Community Art Exhibition
June 30 - July 25, 2026

Early next week we will begin rolling out details of a community art exhibition that will grace the halls of Plymouth’s Historic Firehouse (and possibly other locations) during the month of July!

This show will be open to all residents of Marshall County of all ages in celebration of two hundred and fifty years since we declared ourselves a sovereign nation.

We want to know what “America The Beautiful” means to you.

Not an artist? That’s okay, because we’ll have activities that ANYONE of all ages and skill levels can interact with throughout the exhibit month, ending on July 25 at ARTS in the Street!

We would like to thank the Marshall County Historical Museum’s America 250 Planning Committee and our partner, SoVan Media, for helping to bring this project together.

And thank you to our amazing community for always supporting the arts in and around Marshall County!❤️
