Important Notice: Haunted Hayrides

Port Aransas, TX – The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department would like to notify residents that from Monday, October 27 through Wednesday, October 29, 2025, we will be hosting our annual Haunted Hayrides.

During this event, a lighted hay wagon pulled by a city vehicle will make its way through several community streets, featuring Halloween music, spooky stories, and plenty of laughter and excitement. Please note that you may hear cheers, screams, and other sounds of enjoyment during the event. There is no cause for concern—these are simply the happy sounds of our haunted hayrides in action!

Route streets include:
Roberts Point Park, Cut-Off Road, Port Street, Avenue A, Alister Road, Trout Street, Tarpon Street, Cotter Avenue, Station Street, White Avenue, Mercer Street, Oakes Street Avenue, Beach Street, Dunes Drive, Lantana Drive, Eleventh Street, Sea Isle Drive, Royal Palms Lane, Sea Secret Street, and Avenue G.

Ride times: 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m., with a possible additional ride at 9:00 p.m. if demand allows. All rides will conclude by 10:00 p.m. at the latest.

We encourage residents along the route to decorate their homes and join the fun! Show off your Halloween spirit with spooky lights, ghoulish décor, or creative displays. Your participation helps create a festive atmosphere and a memorable experience for everyone in the community.
