Third day of shooting in the books! Counting a break for dinner, it was a 16-hr day. Let it be known this is the best cast and crew ever assembled. A HUGE shout-out to Donna Knatz Barrett who gave us an entire Saturday (and night) on her day off. And a happy day to Dave as we had our first set birthday.

More to come as we keeping pushing forward!

What’s the best place to be? Happy, making great things with the best people — like this Mirror Image film set. The first two days are in the can. More scheduled in the weeks to come — we can’t wait to bring this (long) short film to you!

Had a great time at this weekend's rehearsal over brunch. The creative team is firing on all (ok, most 🤣) cylinders, and we're adding new, talented faces as we go. A huge THANK YOU to all involved so far, for giving of yourselves and your time.

RIP Rob Reiner, a brilliant comedy performer who could help make the serious All in the Family moments hit home, and who went on to direct some of the most magical, artful and accessible movies of the 80s and 90s; movies so good that Stephen King was so moved by Stand By Me that he asked Rob to wait for him outside because he “needed a few minutes.” Reiner was a master of his art, and by all accounts a decent man. He and his family deserved better.

It’s been a minute, but we’ve been working on our first short, with plans to roll cameras in late March. The camera dept met tonight and started taking equipment inventories, building the lighting setups, and doing some visioning for the look of the film. Can’t wait to roll cams on this script!
