ANOC doesn’t sound like much, but it is short for Annual Notice of Change, and it is very important if you have Medicare coverage.

Each Medicare insurance provider must send their ANOC to all beneficiaries by the end of September each year. If you have Medicare and aren’t sure you have received your ANOC, be on the lookout for it by reading any mailers you receive from your insurer this month.

Some people think that Medicare is FREE. It’s not.

The good news is that Medicare insurance is less less expensive than private health insurance and an important benefit for you and your health.

By being educated on the rules of Medicare and knowing your own needs and wishes for your insurance coverage, you can make choices which will ultimately decide the price you pay.
Learn more at Medicare.gov. You can also contact us with your questions. Having done this for quite a while, Mara is an excellent resource and stays up to date on what’s happening, so you don’t always have to!

If you are turning 65 before the end of 2026, you can enroll now, or depending on your birthday month, no later than:

December 2026 if your 65th birthday is this September,

January 2027 if your 65th birthday is this October,

February 2027, if your 65th birthday is this November,

March 2027 if your 65th birthday is this December.

You are never too old to have fun, although we can forget that.

When we enjoy ourselves and have a good laugh, we may be decreasing our stress hormones and increasing immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies — all with the help of laughter!

Perhaps, laughter is the best medicine!

Laughter can:

Improve our resistance to disease.

Trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals, which promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.

Please say "Hello" to our newest staff member, Mango. He is a young, spunky guy who is all about people! He loves to ensure everyone in the office takes their breaks, has treats, work/life balance (i.e. play time), and snuggles when needed.
