Heyo, so, we know you guys don't ignore web accessibility on purpose. No one would! That said, web accessibility is indeed a thing, and it's a thing that could get you in some legal trouble. There have been over 5,000 lawsuits regarding ADA web compliance in the last two years, against small businesses like ours.

So, take a look at three of the biggest offenders in this post – color contrast ratios, heading hierarchy, and keyboard navigation. If you have text directly over a busy background – probably not compliant. Light text on a lighter background? Not compliant. Super duper tiny text because it's modern and looks clean? Not compliant.

A quick heads-up for anyone using Word, Excel, or Outlook… or any Microsoft product.

Microsoft quietly updated their settings recently, and by default, they’ve turned on permission for AI features to scan your personal documents, drafts, and emails. If you handle client data, personal writings, or sensitive work stuff in Microsoft 365, it’s worth taking 30 seconds to lock down your settings.

Most of us don't have time to dig through policy updates or nested settings, so here's how to opt-out of this data privacy breach feature that Microsoft has so kindly opted you into, without your knowledge.

This weekend, we visited .w**e.spa’s brand new location at , and we are in LOVE. You’ve got incredible spa products, beautiful areas for socializing, zero gravity chairs for your vinotherapy foot baths, two gorgeous and relaxing massage rooms, and a bar stocked with w**e.

We loved building out the menu and other pieces of print material they needed - Kelly is the owner and one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. Their other location is in Portland, so if you love spas and w**e, this is your new go-to 😍

So, the algorithm is complicated – we all know that. It seems like what worked last week no longer works this week. BUT, we've put together a list of the things that have stayed put that Meta has confirmed are things that matter.

In general, SEO has completely been flipped upside down with the introduction of AI (gross). But it means Instagram has switched to being less of a brand's "I'm pretty and consistent!" tool to more of an "I'm a landing page with keywords and all the information you could ever need" tool.

Either way, check this out. Take a look at your strategy to see if you're posting with these updated goals in mind. And let us know if you have questions!

Hey friends, so... we wanted to let you know that Meta will no longer support end-to-end encryption for your private messages, beginning May 8th. There is no opt-out.

What does this mean?
It means they will have access to all of your text, audio, and video messages to do with what they will. They may train AI (similarly to how Google uses your emails to train AI), they may use it to give you even more and "relevant" ads, or they may scan your messages for certain keywords for.. some reason.

There are lots of theories rolling around about their motive, which they've stated is to improve security, ironically. We have our own opinions, but we wanted to make sure you're aware of this change so you can move forward well-informed.
