Are You Even Real?
Lately, I’ve noticed a new kind of question making the rounds. Not “What do you do?” or “Can you help with this project?” but rather… “Are you even real?” 😅

I get it. We’re living in a world where AI writes, speaks, and even smiles better than some of us on camera. Scams are getting slicker, and filters are getting stronger. It’s natural to pause before trusting what’s on your screen.

Just this week, someone reached out to inquire about my services only to admit they weren’t actually interested in hiring me. They just wanted to see if I was a human being.

Fair question, honestly.
So I offered my phone number. My email. Even a Zoom call… face, voice, background noise and all. Because sometimes the only way to prove you’re real is to show up.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
👉 Authenticity doesn’t mean perfect—it means present.
👉 People don’t just want credentials; they want connection.
👉 And yes, in this AI age, a genuine “Hey, how are you really?” goes further than any algorithm ever could.

But here’s the deeper truth…
Technology can mimic almost everything except intent.
It can generate words, but not care. It can echo emotion, but not feel it.
And that’s where we still have the advantage. The future won’t belong to those who sound the smartest; it’ll belong to those who make others feel the safest.

So here’s to the humans… the ones who still pick up the phone, send a real email, or say “let’s talk.”
May we all keep showing up, one verified heartbeat at a time. ❤️
