I was helping a Utah contractor last month figure out why they weren't getting calls from their website. Took me about 30 seconds to find the problem.
Their phone number was buried in the footer. In small text. At the very bottom of the page.
If someone wanted to call them, they had to scroll all the way down, squint to find it, and hope they copied it right. Most people just didn't bother.
Here's what blows my mind: businesses spend thousands on a website, hundreds on ads to drive traffic, and then make it nearly impossible for people to actually contact them.
Your phone number should be visible on every single page. Top right corner. Click to call on mobile. No hunting required.
Same thing with your contact form. Don't hide it under three menu clicks. Make it easy. Make it obvious.
Think about how people actually use websites on their phone. They're busy. They're distracted. They're probably doing three other things at once. If contacting you takes more than two taps, they're moving on to someone else.
You worked hard to get them to your site. Don't lose them at the finish line because they couldn't figure out how to reach you.
