I keep seeing these posts on LinkedIn defining what it is that marketers do. The truth is, the Merriam-Webster definition of marketing is “the process or technique of promoting, selling, and distributing a product or service”, which involves everything from packaging design and market research, to sales and SEO. It is such a broad field and there seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions about what responsibilities should fall under a marketing role. When you hear that someone does marketing, what are some things that pop into your head? 🤔
