Welcome to my copywriting page! If you're not familiar with the term "copywriting" (or if you thought "copyrighting" when you first heard about this), here's a pretty simple explanation. Basically, copywriting is writing meant to persuade someone to take a certain action. It's essentially marketing and advertising writing.

How did I get into copywriting? I'm glad you asked (or... not, that's ok too)! I've always loved writing, starting when I was probably about 7 years old. My writing then consisted of poor attempts to write mystery novels in the style of "Nancy Drew", ha! Now, I'd like to think I'm a little more sophisticated. So a little before my online teaching job ended, I happened to come across a copywriting course and decided to go for it. And the rest, as they say, is history.

As far as this page is concerned, I'll be sharing copywriting tips and tricks, as well as some fun/interesting marketing news I come across from time to time. Please feel free to check out my website, where I have a portfolio of copywriting samples.
