I started Vela Creative Co. in 2019 without a formal launch or a clear roadmap. At the time it was simply a creative studio built on curiosity, service, and a belief that design could help people move with more confidence in their business.

The name Vela comes from the Vela constellation, once part of a larger group of stars used by navigators as a point of direction. That idea of guidance and discovery felt right for the kind of work I wanted to create.

Vela grew project by project. With each client and each person who joined the team, I learned more about what felt aligned and what the business was not meant to carry. That learning shaped our identity and helped clarify the type of work we wanted to be known for.

Today Vela is in a new chapter with a stronger sense of purpose. We focus on brand strategy, visual identity, website design, and thoughtful creative marketing. Our work is centered on clarity, storytelling, and helping teams and organizations build brands that feel true to who they are.

The constellation that inspired our name continues to guide us. It reminds me that growth is not linear and that the best brands are built with intention, patience, and a clear sense of direction.
