Tonight at 6 PM, Redding Buzz will be going LIVE on our YouTube channel to cover Councilmember Tenessa Audette's community presentation regarding the City of Redding budget, spending, financial decisions, and transparency.

Here's why we're covering it.

Recently, we asked our community:

🗣 “Do you feel the City of Redding provides residents with enough clear and accessible information about its budget, spending, and financial decisions?”

The question generated a significant amount of discussion, with many participants selecting “Very dissatisfied” and sharing concerns in the comments.

That told us something important:

Our community wants to know more.

So rather than telling you what to think, we're going to take you there.

Redding Buzz is NOT endorsing tonight's presentation or the statements, statistics, claims, conclusions, or opinions that may be presented.

We're covering it because there's significant community interest in the subject, and we believe residents should have an opportunity to hear the information firsthand and make their own conclusions.

We also welcome information and responses from the City of Redding, other City Council members, and anyone directly involved in these issues.
