I contacted 10 different local printing shops recently to get price quotes on various items such as flyers and brochures.
Only 4 responded. Out of those that did respond, can you guess how widely their prices differed for the same quantity and quality from one place to the next??
Sure, one place might seem to give you a great deal on a particular item but if you compared the pricing of even 2 or 3 items across the board, it's a saddening realization that print shops are COUNTING ON YOU DOING ALL YOUR BUSINESS WITH 1 PRINT SHOP and therefore price gouging customers quite horrifically and getting away with it because 3 out of the 4 things you buy on a normal basis are priced competitively.

Keep your printing company honest!
If you could save even $75 here and there and get the same or higher quality printing, is there really a good reason not to do it?
Sometimes its easier to save a dollar than earn another, fortunately, its still the same extra dollar you can add to your income at the end of the day.
