I just wanted to brag a little about this kid running a Chicken Koop Chassis. Josh Monson is racing a car we built about 5 years ago. His dad made some changes to it but the main part of the chassis is proudly built by CKC! Great job tonight Josh! Passing 12 cars to finish in the top 4 is incredible!! We are excited to see what you can do in your new Chicken!!

The new Chicken saw the light of day today finally. A very special thanks goes to my incredible girlfriend, and owner, of Window World of Mason city, Katy Showalter. I would not be able to do this if it was not for her and her continued support. I would also like to thank Scott Dobel for helping me put this chassis together. Together we have built some pretty quick cars. Hopefully this one will be no different. I’d like to also thank those who help me in the pits, Brian, Landon and my son, Carter. It should be another fun year.
I would also like to thank those who have supported me throughout my 30 years of playing in this sport.

Just WOW! Is pretty much all I can say about how the brand new 2025 CKC Stock Car has turned out! I appreciate everyone who has helped me get to this point including those who helped me last season. I would not be this far along if it were not for you! I can’t wait to get it ready to go in circles, take it outside and get some better pictures.

Got some more done today! Thanks to Scott Dobel for coming over to help! It was a good, productive day. I forgot to take the picture of Scott upside down and backwards while he was welding the interior side of the door bars. 🤷‍♂️. Have a great Super Bowl Sunday everyone!

I’ve been working hard on getting CKC stock car chassis #1 done. Very sorry I haven’t posted anything to this page in a while but this is the first chassis we have built in a couple of years. I am going to shove my co-owner (Scott Dobel) in the car this weekend and hand him the welder to finish up all of those fun welds while I finish cutting and fitting the last 10 or 15 bars.
Hopefully this thing will have some color added to it soon and I can start putting it together shortly thereafter. I will keep you updated on this page!

We’ve been busy getting things ready for a racing vacation next week in Boone Iowa. I am looking so forward to racing on Saturday and then hanging out with some of my friends that I have not seen in a long time, while watching hobby stock qualifying on Monday and Tuesday. Then my Supernationals qualifying opportunities begin on Wednesday through Saturday.
I will try to keep everyone updated on our progress throughout the week. Thank you to all of the people who help with this hotrod, without you, this trip would not be possible. Please stay tuned for updates.
