Iron Roost in Ballston Spa is the kind of spot that just sticks with you.
Cozy, lively, and full of flavor, it's one of the first places I (Megan) fell in love with when I moved to the area almost a decade ago ✨️
Sweet or savory, the entire menu hits; the Lemon Berry, the Very Berry, the Figgy Smalls, and the standout Ballston Cream (vanilla custard, dark chocolate ganache, homemade whipped cream). On the savory side, some options include the daily hand-crimped quiche, the Southwest Fiesta (A FAVORITE), and the Buddha Bowl 🥑✨
Gluten-free options are available, so everyone can find something they love 🙌 They have so many take-and-bake options as well if you're in a hurry.
Their drink specials for April drop 3/31:
🍓 Strawberry Fields, with matcha and strawberry
🌈 End of the Rainbow, with ube and blueberry
Their specialty lattes and drinks on the menu are amazing too; the Cinnamon Bun is a fan-favorite.
This is sincerely an incredible little place that makes good food feel effortless 🧇💛 If you haven't been, you really should pay them a visit.
