Mother’s Day can be beautiful and complicated.

To the moms who are doing their best, the ones feeling overwhelmed, the ones grieving, the ones longing to be mothers, and the ones redefining what motherhood means, there is space for all of it.

You don’t have to feel one specific way today. Your emotions are valid. If today feels heavy, give yourself permission to slow down, set boundaries, and care for your own needs, too.

With compassion,
Lindsay Warren, LLPC 🌷

The lotus flower is rooted in mud but blooms in clarity and light. Its symbolism across cultures centers on overcoming adversity and rebirth.

On a mental health journey, the “mud” might look like trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions. But those experiences do not define you. Instead, they can become the foundation for strength, insight, and transformation.

Healing is not about pretending the mud wasn’t there. It’s about rising anyway. ~Lindsay
