If you’re a dentist running ads for clear aligners, having a great offer isn’t enough. 🦷📈

The way you present that offer can be the difference between someone scrolling past your ad and someone actually becoming a patient.

When I’m building a clear aligner campaign, I’m thinking about:

📸 Creative that stops the scroll
🪝 A hook built around curiosity, pain, or pleasure
💰 An offer that gives patients a reason to take action
✍️ Primary text that speaks directly to what the patient wants
📣 A headline that reinforces the offer
⭐ Reviews, transformations, and other trust signals
👉 One clear next step

And here’s something important:

Your ad doesn’t need to sell the entire clear aligner treatment.

It needs to get the right person interested enough to take the next step.

7 types of content that actually get patients to book. 🦷📲

Most practices post whatever feels easiest that day. But certain content types do the heavy lifting when it comes to actually getting someone to pick up the phone or fill out a form.

Before & afters. Real patient stories. Behind-the-scenes moments.

Answers to the questions patients are too nervous to ask. Simple walkthroughs of what a consult actually looks like.

A clear reason to act now instead of “someday.” And a look at the team patients will actually be trusting with their smile.

Day 2 of breaking down another dental ad that’s losing this practice patients. 🦷🔍

The whole point of an ad is simple: get someone to click. Everything comes down to two things — pain and pleasure. Remind them of a pain they’re dealing with, or show them the outcome they actually want. Think about those two angles and your ad instantly gets stronger.

The primary text (the first line people read) is where this matters most. Instead of a generic line about confidence, ask a real question: Are you confident in your smile? Do you cover your mouth when you smile? Do crooked teeth or gaps stop you from smiling? How would it feel to actually be confident in your smile?

The creative is a solid before-and-after — that kind of transformation is eye-catching and makes people stop scrolling. It’d be even stronger with a specific offer built right into the image, like $500 off or a free consultation.

The headline needs to sell the click too: “Want more info? Click below.” “Limited time offer — click the button.” Give people a reason to act now, not just a generic prompt.

And the biggest issue: this ad sends people straight to the practice’s website instead of a landing page.

A landing page builds trust, keeps people in your funnel, and lets you retarget anyone who didn’t book right away. Sending cold traffic to a homepage loses all of that.

Small changes, but they add up to way more booked patients.

Here’s something most dentists don’t realize about their marketing. 🦷

It’s not always about getting more leads. It’s about how fast you respond to the ones you already have.

Patients searching for a dentist usually aren’t loyal yet, they’re comparing a few options at the same time.

Whoever responds first tends to win the patient, not whoever has the nicest office or the most reviews.

So if leads are coming in but bookings aren’t following, response time is usually the first place to look.

Most dental practices think their marketing is broken. Usually it’s not — it’s their response time. 🦷📲

We ran ads for a local dentist and generated 50 booked consultations in a single month. But the ads were only half the equation.

The other half: every lead got a response in under 5 minutes. No voicemail, no “we’ll call you back tomorrow,” no losing them to the practice down the street that answered first.

Most people searching for a dentist aren’t loyal yet — they’re comparing options in real time. Whoever responds first usually wins the patient, not whoever has the nicer office or the better reviews.

If your practice is generating leads but your calendar doesn’t reflect it, the gap probably isn’t your marketing. It’s what happens in the first 5 minutes after someone reaches out.

Dentists, steal these hooks. 🦷📲

If you’re posting content but not seeing new patients from it, the problem might not be your content — it’s your hook.

The first line is what stops someone from scrolling, and most dental pages skip right past it.

Here are 7 hooks you can use on your own page, just fill in the blank with your specialty (Invisalign, veneers, whitening, root canals, whatever fits):

1️⃣ If you’re still avoiding the dentist because of ______, watch this.
2️⃣ Nobody tells patients this about ______.
3️⃣ I wish more patients knew this before getting ______.
4️⃣ 3 signs you might need ______ (number 2 surprises people).
5️⃣ This is why your ______ isn’t healing/working like it should.
6️⃣ POV: you finally found a dentist who actually explains ______ before doing it.
7️⃣ Things I’d never let happen to my own teeth after seeing ______.

Save this for your next content batch 📌

If you’re a dentist running ads like this on social media, you could be wasting your money. 🦷💸

I came across this ad while scrolling through Facebook, and there are a few things I would immediately change:

❌ No urgency in the primary text
❌ No specific new-patient offer
❌ A stock image instead of the actual dentist
❌ A headline that simply repeats the branding
❌ No strong reason for someone to click or book

Instead, I’d put the actual offer directly on the creative, use a real photo of the dentist with a patient to start building trust, and use the headline to reinforce the offer or give someone another reason to take action.

Your dental ads shouldn’t just look good.

They should turn someone scrolling online into a lead—and eventually a patient.

If you’re a dentist posting content, you might be missing more than you think. 🦷📲

After 5+ years running social media and content for dental practices, these are the 5 things I check first on every page I audit:

1️⃣ Your name field should be working as SEO, not just holding your practice name — it’s one of the first things that helps you get found in search.

2️⃣ Your bio needs real searchable keywords like “[city] dentist,” “Invisalign specialist,” or “veneer specialist.” Patients are typing these exact terms into search.

3️⃣ Your link in bio should go straight to booking, not your homepage. Every extra click is a chance for someone to lose interest and bounce.

4️⃣ Post before/afters and educational content that answers real patient questions — things like “what is Invisalign?” or “how do I whiten my teeth at home?” This builds trust before they ever walk in.

5️⃣ Post Reels consistently, not just static photos. Reels get pushed to new followers every time, while static posts mostly reach people who already follow you.

Content is only half the job. The other half is turning those views into people walking through your front door.

DM “PROMO” and we’ll help you fix it. 🦷

Every piece of content you post as a dental practice should fall into one of 3 buckets: Trust, Personality, or The Offer. 🦷

✅ Trust = proves you know what you’re doing (before/afters, procedure breakdowns, myth-busting)

😄 Personality = makes people like you (team culture, day-in-the-life, patient reactions)

📅 The Offer = actually gets them to book (promos, financing, direct CTAs)

Most practices post randomly and wonder why nothing sticks. 🎯

Pick your pillars, then create with purpose. 🙌

Save this for your next content planning session 📌👇

If I was managing this dental office’s Instagram, here are 5 things I’d change immediately. 👇

I’ve spent 5+ years running social + content for dental practices — turning views into actual booked patients, not just likes.

Here’s what stood out on this page:

1️⃣ Their name field is wasted space that could be doing SEO work for them

2️⃣ Their bio isn’t using searchable keywords (San Diego dentist, Invisalign specialist, veneer specialist — patients are literally searching these)

3️⃣ Their bio quote is nice, but it’s not built to get found

4️⃣ Not enough before/afters, educational content, or FAQ-style posts (what is Invisalign? how do I whiten my teeth at home?)

5️⃣ Not enough Reels — Reels get pushed to new followers every time, and this page is missing out on that reach

Content is only half the job. The other half is turning those views into people walking through your front door.
